Behaviour and Rewards

We prioritise creating a positive and nurturing environment where students' behaviour is celebrated and rewarded. Our comprehensive behaviour management system focuses on promoting kindness, respect, and responsibility among our students. We believe that acknowledging and reinforcing positive behaviour helps to foster a supportive and inclusive community.

We aim to inspire and motivate our students to consistently demonstrate exemplary conduct.

Transitions

Transitions

We understand that transitions can be both exciting and challenging for students. Whether it's the move from primary school to secondary school or the transition between different grade levels within our institution, we are dedicated to ensuring a smooth and seamless experience for all. Our experienced staff and supportive community are committed to providing the necessary guidance and support during these pivotal moments.

We offer orientation programs, mentorship opportunities, and personalised transition plans to help students navigate their new environments and feel a sense of belonging from day one.

Counselling & Safeguarding

Counselling & Safeguarding

We prioritise the well-being and safety of our students above all else. Our dedicated counselling and safeguarding services provide a supportive and nurturing environment where students can seek guidance, address personal challenges, and develop essential coping skills. Our team of qualified counsellors and support staff are trained to address a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health concerns, offering confidential and compassionate support to students in need. Additionally, we have robust safeguarding measures in place to ensure the physical and emotional safety of all our students.

School Clinic

School Clinic

The school clinic at GES is a dedicated space where the health and well-being of our students are of utmost importance. Led by qualified healthcare professionals, our clinic provides a safe and caring environment for students to receive medical assistance and support. From addressing minor injuries and illnesses to providing first aid and administering prescribed medications, our clinic team is well-equipped to handle a wide range of health-related concerns.

Our school nurses conduct annual basic health checks and organise workshops on various health-related topics for students. They also collaborate with the Ministry of Health to administer required vaccinations and checks as mandated by the Ministry. Ensuring the well-being of our school community is our top priority.

School Representative Committee

School Representative Committee

The School Representative Committee at GES serves as the voice of the student body, promoting active participation, and fostering a sense of ownership in the school community. Composed of elected student representatives from various grade levels, this committee acts as a platform for students to express their ideas, concerns, and suggestions. The committee actively engages in dialogue with school administration, advocating for student interests and working collaboratively to effect positive change within the school. Through organising events, initiatives, and student-led projects, the School Representative Committee empowers students to develop leadership skills, build teamwork, and contribute to the overall growth and development of our school. At GES, we believe in empowering students as leaders and providing them with a platform to shape their educational experience in a meaningful way.
