Gulf English School (GES) is part of A’Tafawuq for Educational Services (TES), a leading educational organization in Kuwait with over four decades of experience.
TES is committed to excellence in education, combining high-quality international curricula with strong local values. The group operates a number of strategic schools, including GES and A’Takamul International School (ATIS) in Kuwait, and settings in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
With a centralized administrative structure, TES ensures consistency, innovation, and operational efficiency across its schools by managing key functions centrally — such as HR, finance, marketing, IT, procurement, and legal.

Gulf English School Governance Overview
The Governing Board of Gulf English School provides strategic oversight and ensures that the School consistently fulfils its mission, vision, and educational objectives. The Board acts as the highest level of governance and is committed to safeguarding the long term sustainability, integrity, and educational quality of the School. It works in partnership with the School Leadership Team to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements, while promoting best practices in international education.
The Governing Board of Gulf English School ensures that safeguarding and child protection arrangements meet local regulatory requirements, with clear oversight, accountability, and regular review. The Governing Board is composed of senior members of the holding company as well as representatives of the proprietor family; namely Ms. Farah Al Wazzan, who has extensive experience in the education business, Mr. Fahad Al Wazzan, who has extensive experience in General and Financial Management, and Mr. Dia, who addresses all legal aspects. All members are supported by senior executives of the holding company.
