Today, students Muhammad Islam Al-Ashwal and Lana Samer Abdel Hadi were honored for winning the Hadith Memorisation Competition for English, bilingual, and American schools.

We are proud to be working in collaboration with New Mowasat Hospital to highlight the importance of dental care. As part of this initiative, a dentist will be visiting our Reception, Year 1 and Year 3 students to educate them on oral hygiene and provide free dental care kits.

نفخر بالتعاون مع مستشفى المواساة الجديد لتسليط الضوء على أهمية العناية بالأسنان. وفي إطار هذه المبادرة، سيزور طبيب أسنان طلابنا في الصفوف التمهيدية والأولى والثالثة لتثقيفهم حول صحة الفم، وسيقدم لهم مستلزمات مجانية للعناية بالأسنان.

Gulf English School received a certificate of appreciation from Alnowait Troupe Initiative at the Grand Ceremony @al_nowair. The recognition of our outstanding commitment to education and leadership development amoung young woman for a lasting impact on Kuwait’s community and future economy.

At GES we’re incredibly proud of our Year 6 student Farah Abdelrazek for her inspiring participation in the Alnowair Troupe Initiative and for receiving multiple awards at the Grand Ceremony yesterday! Alnowair, founded by HH Sheikha Intisar Al Sabah, empowers young women through purposeful theatre to address real social challenges. Special thanks to @al_nowair for this powerful initiative and @nlinkuwait, the Embassy of the Netherlands as funding partner.

تكريم مدرسة الخليج الإنجليزية لدورها الريادي في تنمية المهارات القيادية

تُوجت مدرسة الخليج الإنجليزية بتكريم مرموق من قبل مبادرة فرقة نُوَير خلال الحفل السنوي الكبير، وذلك اعترافًا بدورها الفعّال في دعم التعليم الشامل، وترسيخ قيم القيادة والمسؤولية لدى الطالبات. ويأتي هذا التكريم تتويجًا لجهود المدرسة في خلق بيئة تعليمية محفزة تشجع على الإبداع والمبادرة، بما يسهم في إعداد جيل من الفتيات القادرات على إحداث تغيير إيجابي في المجتمع الكويتي واقتصاده المستقبلي.

وقد برزت مشاركة الطالبة المتميزة “فرح عبد الرازق” من الصف السادس، التي مثلت المدرسة بكل فخر ضمن فعاليات مبادرة نُوَير، حيث نالت إشادة واسعة وجوائز متعددة نظير أدائها الملهم ومساهمتها الفاعلة في العروض المسرحية الهادفة.

تُعد مبادرة نُوَير، التي أطلقتها سمو الشيخة انتصار الصباح، منصة فريدة لتمكين الفتيات من خلال المسرح التفاعلي، وتتناول قضايا اجتماعية حيوية بهدف تعزيز الوعي والتغيير الإيجابي.

Yesterday, we successfully conducted a school-wide evacuation drill. Fire drills are essential for ensuring student safety and helping everyone stay calm and follow the correct procedures during an emergency. We’re proud of how well our students responded and followed safety protocols!

أجرينا أمس بنجاح تمرين إخلاء على مستوى المدرسة. تُعد تدريبات الإخلاء ضرورية لضمان سلامة الطلاب ومساعدة الجميع على الهدوء واتباع الإجراءات الصحيحة في حالات الطوارئ. نحن فخورون باستجابة طلابنا الجيدة واتباعهم لبروتوكولات السلامة .

Our GES students from Years 7–10 attended the A’takamul Model United Nations (MUN) conference last weekend! MUN is an academic simulation where students act as delegates from different countries to debate and solve real-world issues. We are especially proud that some of our delegations were recognised as Best Delegates and Most Improved Delegates. Well done to all!

‎شارك طلاب مدرسة الخليج من الصف السابع حتى العاشر في مؤتمر نموذج الأمم المتحدة (MUN) الذي أُقيم نهاية الأسبوع الماضي في مدرسة التكامل. يُعد نموذج الأمم المتحدة محاكاة أكاديمية يتقمص فيها الطلاب دور مندوبي الدول المختلفة لمناقشة القضايا العالمية وإيجاد حلول لها. ونحن فخورون بشكل خاص بحصول بعض طلابنا على جوائز “أفضل مندوب” و”أكثر مندوب تحسناً”. أحسنتم جميعاً.

A fantastic turnout at our Year 8 Parent Curriculum Information event. It was wonderful to share details about the exciting changes coming to the GES curriculum. Following the announcement from the Ministry of Education , teaching will be online for all students on Tuesday 15th April.

Teachers will provide further instructions to students as to how to access lessons.
